The can figures below are printed on the can. For the kits, we use the nutrition figures on each product page as they read on 30 September 2026, per 100g and per sachet, then add each drink up sachet by sachet. The full panels are on each product page, and the ingredients for every drink are on Our Bubble Teas.

The kit sachets, one by one

Each home kit makes four drinks, and each drink uses one tea sachet and one boba sachet, stirred into 300ml of water or milk with ice. The four steps are in how to make bubble tea at home without special equipment. These are the current energy and sugar figures for each sachet, from our product pages.

How many calories are in a bubble tea kit drink?

A TeaJoy home kit drink comes to 146 to 197 kcal before any milk: add the tea sachet to the boba sachet and you have the drink. The fruit teas are made with water and ice. The milk teas and the matcha drink are made with milk, so those totals are before milk.

Adding the milk

The two milk teas and the matcha drink each take 300ml of milk or a milk alternative, and the calories in that depend on which one you pour. Read the per 100ml figure on your milk's own label, multiply it by three, and add it to the totals above. The kits contain no milk themselves, so made with oat or soy milk, the Milk Tea Kit gives you a vegan milk tea. What each pack prints on vegan, gluten free and halal is in is bubble tea vegan, gluten free and halal.

Which TeaJoy drink has the fewest calories?

The can is the lightest TeaJoy drink, at 29 kcal. Among the kit drinks, the matcha drink starts lowest, at 146 kcal before milk. The fruit teas come to 167 and 171 kcal, and the milk teas start highest, at 195 and 197 kcal before milk. The difference is in the topping: a 50g sachet of instant tapioca is 128 kcal against 75 kcal for a sachet of popping boba, while the milk tea powders (67 and 69 kcal) are lighter than the fruit syrups (92 and 96 kcal). Popping boba vs tapioca pearls explains how the two toppings differ in the cup.
