TeaJoy is a premium bubble tea brand that makes authentic Taiwanese bubble tea simple and accessible. We've refined the bubble tea-making process to just three steps: Add Water, Shake, and Pour. Our products are sourced from Taiwan and create zero waste while delivering an authentic bubble tea experience.

Do you ship internationally?

At the moment we deliver within the UK. If you are outside the UK and would like TeaJoy, get in touch and we will tell you what is possible.

How long does shipping take?

UK orders go out with DPD on a 2 to 4 working day service. Delivery is £3.95, or free on orders over £25.

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your TeaJoy experience! If you're not satisfied with your order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Due to the food nature of our products, we can only accept returns of unopened, unused items in their original packaging.

How do I prepare TeaJoy bubble tea?

It's incredibly simple! Just Add Water, Shake, and Pour. Each product comes with detailed step-by-step instructions. No special equipment needed!

How long do the tapioca pearls take to cook?

Our tapioca pearls cook in just 20 seconds! They're made from 100% sweet cassava flour and deliver a delightful caramel brown sugar taste without needing any additional syrup.

What makes your popping boba special?

Our popping boba is crafted from real fruit juice with a shell made from Xanthan gum, giving it a thinner shell for a better pop and less rubbery texture. In taste tests, 10 out of 10 people preferred ours over others on the market!

Where do you source your ingredients?

We source our tea from the Taichung region in western Taiwan, in the foothills of the Xueshan mountain range. We personally visit to meet the people who produce our tea. This special region produces the most fragrant tea and is the heartland of Taiwanese tea culture. We only use real fruit and high-quality tea to honor the authentic bubble tea tradition.

Where can I buy ready-made bubble tea in the UK?

Ready-made means no shaking or brewing: open the can, add the paper straw and drink it chilled. TeaJoy cans are ready to drink and are sold online for home delivery and at stockists including Rosa's Thai, Las Iguanas, Black Sheep Coffee and TGI Fridays.

Where can you buy bubble tea in a UK supermarket?

Supermarket ranges change often and differ from store to store. TeaJoy is stocked mainly through cafés, restaurants and independent shops, more than 800 of them, and online here and on Amazon UK. If your local shop does not have us yet, ask them to register as a stockist.

Does Aldi sell bubble tea?

Ingredients and dietary

Is TeaJoy vegan?

Every TeaJoy product page marks the item Vegan Friendly, and the cans state “Vegan & gluten-free” on pack. This covers the Fruit Tea Kit, Milk Tea Kit, Matcha Tea Kit, both cans, the can bundle and the commercial kits. Check the individual ingredients list on each product page if you have specific dietary concerns.

Is canned bubble tea gluten free?

Yes. The whole TeaJoy range, the cans, the home kits and the commercial bundles, is gluten free and allergen free. The ready-to-drink cans also state vegan and gluten-free on the pack.

How much sugar is in a can?

Per 100ml, a TeaJoy bubble tea can contains 2.0g of sugars, out of 2.2g total carbohydrates, as stated on the can’s nutrition panel. A can is 330ml, so the whole-can figure works out to roughly 6.6g of sugars when calculated from that per-100ml figure.

Do the kits need boiling?

No, none of TeaJoy’s home kits need boiling. The Fruit Tea Kit says “no boiling, cooking or brewing required,” while the Milk Tea Kit and Matcha Tea Kit both say “no boiling, cooking or microwaving required.” Each kit works by stirring a sachet into water or milk, then adding ice.

How many drinks does a kit make?

Each TeaJoy home kit, the Fruit Tea Kit, Milk Tea Kit and Matcha Tea Kit, makes 4 drinks. The commercial Milk Tea Bundle makes 10 or 40 drinks depending on the pack size, and the commercial Strawberry & Mango Bundle makes 20 or 80 drinks.

Is popping boba vegan?

Yes, every TeaJoy product containing popping boba, the cans, the Fruit Tea Kit, the Matcha Tea Kit and the commercial Strawberry & Mango Bundle, is marked Vegan Friendly on its product page. The cans additionally state “Vegan & gluten-free” on pack. Check the sachet ingredients list on each product page for full detail.

What do you add to a kit, water or milk?

TeaJoy kits use water or milk depending on which one: the Fruit Tea Kit uses 300ml of water, the Milk Tea Kit uses 300ml of milk or a milk alternative, and the Matcha Tea Kit uses milk for its matcha drink but water for its fruit drink. All three then add ice.

Which TeaJoy products use popping boba and which use tapioca pearls?

TeaJoy’s cans, the Fruit Tea Kit and the Matcha Tea Kit all use popping boba. The Milk Tea Kit and the commercial Milk Tea Bundle use instant tapioca pearls instead. The commercial Strawberry & Mango Bundle uses mango popping boba, supplied as a 1.1kg tub for 20 drinks.

Do you need any special equipment to make a kit?

TeaJoy’s home kits need no special equipment. Each Fruit Tea, Milk Tea and Matcha Tea Kit includes eco-friendly jumbo paper straws, and you simply stir a sachet into water or milk in your own cup, then add ice. Commercial bundles also include cups, lids and straws.
