🧋 From Complicated to Simple: Our Story

TeaJoy wasn't born in a boardroom. It started in the kitchen of our founder's Brixton restaurant, MamaLan, during the first lockdown. When South Londoners could no longer travel to Chinatown for bubble tea, Ning decided to make it herself. What she found was a process that was slow, messy, and almost impossible to get right consistently.

So she did something about it. After studying tea in Taiwan, she developed her own recipes - a ready-to-mix bubble tea syrup made with jasmine tea and real fruit, plus popping boba that stays fresh without cooking. The result was a drink that tasted like a bubble tea shop but took seconds, not hours, to prepare.

Word spread quickly. First to nearby venues, then to national chains, then to operators up and down the country. Today, TeaJoy is served in more than 800 locations across the UK, from independent cafés to national names like Black Sheep Coffee, Creams, and Compass Group. Over 2 million cups have been sold - and we're still just getting started.

We built this kit because we wish it had existed when we started. It's the shortcut we never had, and we're proud to share it.
